Every woman and their family needs something different. Below gives you an idea of what I can offer you, but this can be discussed and tailored to your requirements when we meet. There will always be an initial meeting of around 60 minutes, for which there is absolutely no charge and is also without any obligation. This normally takes place over a video call or phone call.
Please do not be put off if you think you cannot afford my services - there may be help available to you dependent upon your situation, and payments can also be made in instalments. Prices for bookings made from 1st October 2023.
Full Antenatal, Birth & Post natal
The most popular as this gives you the continuity from your antenatal period right through to the post natal.
The package includes:
- Initial 60 minute free call and discussion of requirements, either over video call or phone.
- Minimum of four antenatal visits, tailored hypnobirthing and antenatal preparation course from 24 weeks (sooner if you require for anxiety reasons). Each session is approximately two hours.
- 24-hour availability, including Christmas and New Year for 10 days prior to your due date and up to the day of your birth. I either come to your home or meet you dependent on what is happening in your labour.
- Support and advocacy for you and your birth partner during your abour
- Following birth, I remain with you until you are settled, either at home or hospital
- Postnatal support included for eg breastfeeding.

Antenatal, Birth & Minimal Postnatal
For some women, there is only a need for mainly antenatal and birth care as you may have very good post natal support in place.
The package includes:
- Initial 60 minute free call and discussion of requirements, either over video call or phone.
- Minimum of four antenatal visits, tailored hypnobirthing and antenatal preparation course from 24 weeks (sooner if you require for anxiety reasons). Each session is approximately two hours.
- 24-hour availability, including Christmas and New Year for 10 days prior to your due date and up to the day of your birth. I either come to your home or meet you dependent on what is happening in your labour.
- Support and advocacy for you and your birth partner during your labour.
- Up to two hours postnatal support for eg breastfeeding included.

Hypnobirthing & antenatal preparation.
I am a certified hypnotic birth practitioner (CHBP) and registered with the NCHP. For first time parents, or those that have had a few years gap since last giving birth. Five sessions comprising 1-2-1 hypnobirthing using the renowned easibirthingTM method, along with antenatal preparation including preparing your birth plan.

For those who have used hypnobirthing previously, a refresher to help prepare you for your next birth.
Two sessions which include antenatal support, any debrief discussion from previous birth and birth plan preparation.

For elective caesarian preparation, one or two sessions combined with help for lactation or suppression, dependent on requirement.

Breech presentation
One or two sessions of hypnotherapy to help baby gain a cephalic or head down presentation.

Birth only
The birth package will still include the initial 60 minute call and two antenatal visits as it is important that we both have a good understanding about working together. On call from ten days prior until the birth of your baby.
Postnatal visit is included.
Occasionally, there will be a last-minute decision to employ a doula. I will always do my utmost to accommodate you if this happens, but a pre-birth in-person meet up is still recommended to ensure expectations are discussed.
Are you looking for remote support or maybe an English-speaking doula and you are living abroad? Birth support through video call is also now possible, so if you are not in my area, I can still help you during this time.

Post natal only
If your requirement is for post natal support, I offer an hourly rate with a minimum of a two-hour block booked.
Needs are usually discussed with you prior to giving birth. It may range from coming to the hospital, meeting you at home from hospital to help you settle, preparing food for your meal, basic housework, preparing baby's feeds, etc. Sometimes it's just looking out for baby so you can get some well-needed sleep or spend some time with your other children.
However, you may have already given birth but have just decided that you need more help than you realised. I will always do my best to accommodate you, or can recommend another post natal specialist doula if I am not available.
£40 hourly rate during the hours of 0800-2000.
Sickness & hyperemesis gravidarum treatment
Single session to help treat your pregnancy sickness problems.

All packages can be tailored to requirements and your choice of birthing is exactly that, your choice.
Water birth
A wonderful and natural pain relief that has been used for centuries. Women have reported that having a water birth resulted in a calmer labour with fewer perineal tears, less pain relief and an amazing transition from womb to world for their baby.
Home birth
Yes, you can have a home birth! Discuss with me how to have your birth where you want, this may include breech presentation or vaginal birth following caesarean (VBAC).
Free birth is completely legal in the UK with the choice of who supports you and where you choose to give birth. It is a minefield at times, but speak to me on how you can negotiate the system.
Breastfeeding support
Even though it's completely normal and natural, it's often not an easy thing in the first few weeks. Let me help support you in those first few vital weeks.
Antenatal classes
I offer 1-2-1 antenatal support combined with hypnobirthing classes. I can also signpost you to lovely classes in yoga or hypnobirthing close to where you live.
Placenta remedies
Capsules, tinctures and smoothies for your use following birth.
Many women have reported a reduction in post partum depression symptoms following the using of remedies. This is an age-old restorative to help women recovery quickly following birth by helping to regulate hormones so you feel better, help milk flow and post birth bleeding appears to be much reduced and finish sooner.
I have some wonderful smoothie recipes for immediate use after birthing your baby and, no, it honestly isn't as bad as you think!

Loss of pregnancy
Things don't always go to plan. Contact me if you would like support during your baby's birth or in the immediate time following.
I work following SANDS guidelines and update my practice regularly with attending their workshops.
I can offer hypnotherapy and beautiful homeopathic remedies.
Fees are reduced or may be totally waived in these situations.
Advocacy
Sometimes extra support is needed in talking to medical professionals. Ask me how I can support you, whether this might be in achieving the outcome you want for your baby's birth, or attending a postnatal meeting to discuss mediation surrounding your care in hospital. Costs will be dependent upon the situation.
